4.1 General Policy
Due to the nature of prize competitions, tickets are non-refundable once purchased. This is because each ticket represents a live entry into a time-limited draw and cannot be resold or reassigned.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
4.2 Exceptions — When We Will Issue a Refund
We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:
• A technical error on our website resulted in a duplicate charge
• You were charged an incorrect amount due to a pricing error on our website
• Your entry was not registered due to a technical fault on our end
• You are under 18 — entries by persons under 18 will be voided and refunded in full
• We cancel a draw for any reason — which we commit never to do, but in exceptional unforeseen circumstances a full refund would be issued to all ticket holders
4.3 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund under any of the above circumstances, email hello@thesovereigndraw.co.uk within 14 days of your purchase with:
• Your full name
• Your order number
• The reason for your refund request
• Evidence where applicable (e.g. screenshot of duplicate charge)
We will review your request and respond within 3 working days. If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5-10 working days.
4.4 Physical Prizes
Where a winner receives a physical prize and it arrives damaged or materially different to how it was described, they should contact us within 48 hours of receipt at hello@thesovereigndraw.co.uk. We will arrange collection and replacement or offer the full cash alternative value.
